The year 2020 has been a tough one for the film fraternity with a number of Bollywood personalites having bid goodbye to the world. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Bachchan's and Ekta Kapoor, who throw some of the biggest Diwali gatherings, have scrapped their plans for this year. Given the Covid-19 pandemic and Rishi Kapoor's death, the festive season will be feeling this loss immensely. The Bachchan's lost Ritu Nanda (Rishi Kapoor's sister and Shweta Bachchan's relative) prior this year in January. Rishi Kapoor died in April 2020.Not to forget, the Bachchan's themselves have witnessed the coronavirus with

While Rishi is Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s uncle (she is married to nephew Rishi Kapoor), Ekta considers him family too. Talking about Amitabh Bachchan, the actor recently signed Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer, which will be directed by Mahanati helmer Nag Ashwin. On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor is busy with multiple web series and films projects as a producer. She will be bankrolling Do Villain, which stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in key roles
