Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India has been in the news ever since the film was announced. The Abhishek Dudhaiya directorial which is a war action drama set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war also starred Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role. However, if reports in the media are to be believed then the 'Ishaqzaade' actress has opted out of the film due to her other work film commitments namely 'The Girl on the Train remake and Saina biopic. 

According to report in Mumbai Mirror. Nora Fatehi came on board recently and has started attending workshops for her role with the director. Apparently, the role is that of a spy for which the actress will start shooting after January 12 during  the last 15 days of the schedule. A few days back the first look of Ajay Devgn from the film was released. The Tanhaji star plays the role of IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik in the movie. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Ammy Virk, and Pranitha Subhash. The war drama is slated to hit theatres a day on August 14th 2020, a day before Independence Day.
