The weekend has arrived, bringing a fresh lineup of movies and web series on popular OTT platforms, including Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, and JioCinema. From action-packed thrillers to romantic comedies, February 14 offers a variety of entertainment options for viewers at home.

Marco (Sony LIV)

The Malayalam action thriller Marco premieres on Sony LIV. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the film features Unni Mukundan in the lead role. Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu, Shammi Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, and Yukti Thareja play supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur, with cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj and editing by Shameer Muhammed.

Dhoom Dhaam (Netflix)

Netflix brings Dhoom Dhaam, a romantic comedy starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi. The film follows a couple who enter an arranged marriage but find themselves on the run due to a case of mistaken identity. With a mix of action, comedy, and romance, Dhoom Dhaam is a must-watch this weekend.

Melo Movie (Netflix)

The South Korean romantic comedy series Melo Movie debuts on Netflix. Written by Lee Na-eun and directed by Oh Chung-hwan, the show stars Choi Woo-shik, Park Bo-young, Lee Jun-young, and Jeon So-nee. Scheduled for a Valentine’s Day premiere, the series promises a heartwarming story.

Pyaar Testing (ZEE5)

Pyaar Testing premieres on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. The series stars Plabita as Amrita and Satyajeet as Dhruv. The story revolves around a young couple who decide to live together, facing opposition from their conservative families. The series explores the challenges of modern relationships.

Broken Rage (Prime Video)

The Japanese action-comedy Broken Rage debuts on Prime Video. Directed by Takeshi Kitano, the 2024 film presents a unique two-part format: a serious yakuza action story followed by a self-parodying comedy of the same plot. Kitano, who also wrote and stars in the film, offers an unconventional take on storytelling. The Guardian described it as “so odd you’ll be glad it exists.”

Kadhalikka Neramillai (Netflix)

Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Kadhalikka Neramillai tells the story of an architect, played by Nithya Menen, who chooses single motherhood through IVF. A mix-up at the fertility clinic connects her to structural engineer Sid, leading to an unexpected journey of destiny and connection. The film explores themes of choice, fate, and relationships.

With a mix of action, romance, and drama, this weekend’s OTT lineup offers something for every viewer.
