The trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker's much awaited periodical drama Panipat is finally out and going by the looks of it the director seems to have taken a cue out of Padmavaat.

The trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker's much awaited periodical drama Panipat is finally out and going by the looks of it the director seems to have taken a cue out of Padmavaat.  True to his style the director has tried his best to make the trailer look grand and convincing.  

The film which is based on the third battle of Panipat features an ensemble star cast including Mohnish Bahl. The movie will see Arjun Kapoor essay the role of a warrior for the very first time. The period drama also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt as Ahmad Shah Abdali. The movie is set to hit the theatres on December 6th and is produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar.
