Parineeti Chopra injured on the sets of Saina Nehwal biopic

Parineeti Chopra who is currently shooting for Saina Nehwal biopic took to her Twitter hande and shared a picture where she is seen sitting with a neck - band aid.

Parineeti Chopra who is currently shooting for Saina Nehwal biopic took to her Twitter hande and shared a picture where she is seen sitting with a neck - band aid. Reason? the ace actress got injured while shooting one of the scenes. The sports biopic which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar features an ensemble starcast. Parineeti who has been honing her badminton skills is often seen sweating hard in the badminton court. The actress recently met Saina as a part of her role in the film.  Meanwhile, the actress also shares regular updates with her fans about the film on social media. 

Speaking about today's incident Parineeti wrote, "Dude. Me and the entire team of Saina have been taking so much care that I shouldn't get an injury, but shit happens! Will rest it as much as I can before I can start playing badminton again. 🙏 #SainaNehwalBiopic." The role was earlier offered to Shraddha Kapoor but she opted out of the project. However understanding busy schedule the makers then zeroed in on Parineeti for the role. Apart from the sports drama, Parineeti will also be seen in the Bollywood adaptation of the 2016 Hollywood mystery drama 'The Girl on The Train.'
