Actress Chahatt Khanna is opening up about choosing peace over perfection and redefining what strength truly means. In a candid reflection on healing and mental well-being, she shares how stepping away from constant expectations transformed her sense of self-worth. “There was a time when being strong meant holding everything together, even when I was breaking inside,” says Chahatt. “Today, strength means listening to myself and choosing peace—even if it means disappointing others.”
Calling out the silent pressure on women to be ‘perfect,’ she adds, “Perfection is exhausting. Peace is freeing.” For Chahatt, healing began when she stopped performing for the world. “The moment I stopped trying to look okay and started trying to be okay, everything changed.” She emphasises that self-worth doesn’t come from approval or sacrifice. “You don’t need to be perfect to be worthy. Self-worth is something you remember, not something you earn.” By choosing peace, setting boundaries, and allowing herself to rest, Chahatt hopes to inspire women to prioritise mental well-being without guilt. “Choosing peace isn’t giving up,” she says. “It’s choosing yourself.”
