A shocking incident occurred during Sonu Nigam’s recent concert at Delhi Technological University (DTU), where a section of the audience created chaos, forcing the performance to be halted. The concert was part of DTU’s Engfest 2025 celebrations. According to reports, some students in the crowd became overly excited and began throwing stones and plastic bottles onto the stage, causing a major disruption.

Despite the unexpected situation, Sonu Nigam remained calm and urged the audience to maintain decorum. Addressing the crowd, he said: “Main aapke liye aaya hun yahan pe so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please aisa na kariye." Reports also suggest that some members of Sonu Nigam’s team were injured in the incident.

Similar Incident at Sonu Nigam’s Kolkata Concert

This isn’t the first time Sonu Nigam has faced disruptions during his performances. In February 2025, the singer encountered a similar situation during his concert in Kolkata, where some audience members repeatedly stood up, disturbing the event. Sonu Nigam, visibly frustrated, had to intervene to restore order. A video of the incident, which went viral on social media, shows him angrily instructing the crowd to sit down, saying:

Sonu Nigam, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated playback singers, has performed worldwide and enjoys a massive fan following. However, these recent incidents have left both the singer and his fans disheartened.
