Veteran Dilip Kumar died at 98 years old on Wednesday. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has announced that the actor will be accorded state honours. “Last rites of Dilip Kumar will be held with full state honours. CM Uddhav Thackeray has issued directives in this regard,” the chief minister's office said. Soon after the announcement, police personnels arrive at Dilip Kumar's residence for the state honours ceremony ahead of the funeral. CM Uddhav Thackeray visited legendary actor Dilip Kumar's residence in Khar, Mumbai. He came to offers condolences and was accompanied by son and tourism minister Aaditya Thackeray.

The actor's wife Saira Banu was also seen at the hospital.
