Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have teamed up for the first time ever to work together in a special project. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced because it marks Ranbir and Luv Ranjan's first collaboration. Now according to a Pinkvilla report, ace music composer Pritam has come on board as music director.  movie also features Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia playing the role of Ranbir’s parents. The much-awaited rom com went on the floors in January in the first week of January in Ghaziabad. 

 The film is co-produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg's Luv Films and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. The film marks Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor's first project together. Ranbir who was last seen in Sanju has a number of films in his kitty. Ranbir has friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji's fantasy-adventure Brahmastra, in which he will share screen space with girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Ranbir  is also prepping for director Karan Malhotra's Shamshera. He will feature in the lead role in the film, co-starring Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor, was last seen in Baaghi 3, opposite Tiger Shroff which was directed by Ahmed Khan.
