Global icon and former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra shared a sweet message for Sushant. Sharing a photo of him on her Instagram story, she wrote, “Thinking of you,” with a heart and prayer emoji. Today, on his first death anniversary, Sushant's fans flooded social media, lit candles outside his residence and paid heartwarming tributes. Among other celebrities who paid tribute to Sushant included his Kedarnath co-star Sara Ali Khan. Penning a heartwarming post, Sara wrote, "Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there. You introduced me to the world of acting, made me believe that dreams could come true, and gave me all that I have today," Sara wrote in her post, which came with a happy memory from Kedarnath shoot days." Still can't believe you're gone. But every time I look at the stars, the rising sun or the moon I know you're here," read Sara Ali Khan's post. Making a reference to the northern constellation Andromeda.

A host of stars including Rajkummar Rao, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Pulkit Samrat, Sanjana Sanghi, Bhumi Pednekar, Ankita Lokhande, director Abhishek Kapoor remembered Sushant Singh Rajput on his first death anniversary. Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. A popular face on the Indian television courtesy the hit soap opera Pavitra Rishta, Sushant Singh Rajput made his feature debut in 2013 with Kai Po Che!, directed by Abhishek. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing Sushant's death, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Board (NCB) investigating money laundering and drugs related angle in the case.
