Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 2: Raja Shivaji, starring Riteish Deshmukh, continued its strong box office run on Day 2 of its theatrical release. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the historical action drama collected Rs 10.55 crore net on its second day (first Saturday), following a strong opening of Rs 11.35 crore on Day 1.
The film recorded its Day 2 collection across 6,275 shows with an overall occupancy of 28.9%. The Marathi version contributed Rs 7.15 crore with strong occupancy of 57 percent across 1,980 shows, while the Hindi version collected Rs 3.40 crore from 4,295 shows with 16 percent occupancy.
With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 21.90 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 26.06 crore after two days.
Despite facing competition from Ek Din, the film maintained steady performance across markets
On its opening day, Raja Shivaji outperformed notable Marathi blockbusters such as Sairat and Timepass 2, both of which had collected around Rs 3.60 crore on Day 1.
Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia Deshmukh under the banner of Mumbai Film Company, Raja Shivaji is directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and has been released in Marathi and Hindi.
The film features several well-known names from Bollywood and Marathi cinema, including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Boman Irani, Amol Gupte and Genelia Deshmukh.
A special cameo appearance by Salman Khan has also become a major talking point among audiences.
