Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 9: Raja Shivaji witnessed a strong jump in collections on its second Saturday as Riteish Deshmukh starrer continued its impressive run at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the historical action drama collected Rs 5.60 crore net in India on Day 9 with a massive 75 percent growth compared to its Day 8 collection of Rs 3.20 crore. The film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 61.45 crore, while the gross domestic collection has reached approximately Rs 72.91 crore.

The film once again performed better in Marathi markets compared to Hindi circuits on Saturday. The Marathi version contributed Rs 4.25 crore with an impressive 40 percent occupancy across 1,942 shows, while the Hindi version earned Rs 1.35 crore with 16 percent occupancy from 2,020 shows.

The film had opened strongly on May 1 with Rs 11.35 crore on its first day and maintained solid momentum during the opening weekend. By the end of its first week, the movie had already crossed Rs 52.65 crore net in India. Despite the expected weekday decline, the collections remained stable throughout the week before witnessing a strong rise during the second weekend.

Presented by Jio Studios and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia Deshmukh under the banner of Mumbai Film Company, Raja Shivaji is directed by Riteish Deshmukh. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and has been released in Marathi and Hindi.

The film features several well-known names from Bollywood and Marathi cinema, including Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar and Bhagyashree, along with a special cameo appearance by Salman Khan.
