Superstar Rajnikanth in a sweet gesture thanked Bear Grylls for an unforgettable shooting experience for Man vs Wild. Rajni was at Bandipur Reserve, Karnataka for shooting the episode. Earlier there were reports doing the rounds that Rajnikanth suffered a serious injury while shooting but the actor rubbished those claims. While interacting with the press at Chennai airport after the shooting, he stated that there was no major injury but a minor one. The Darbar actor said that a small thorn dug into his foot which was cured as soon as it happened. 

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Barack Obama, and Russian President Vladimir Putin have also appeared in the episodes of Man Vs Wild.The show is Rajnikanth's first television venture after more than four decades of cinema. Bear Grylls also took to social media to post a picture with the movie legend. On the work front Rajnikanth will be next seen in Siruthai Siva's Thalaivar 168.
