In a horrific accident a gas leak from a chemical plant in Visakhapatnam on early Thursday morning has left several sick with a number of casualties in Andhra Pradesh. In scenes reminiscent of the Bhopal gas tragedy of 1984, the streets and hospitals of Visakhapatnam were filled with people in panic, scared to breathe and unable to fathom the silent tragedy that struck them. While many celebs and politicians expressed their condolences to the bereaved families ace director blamed God for the tragedy stating he has control over everything.Ram Gopal Varma in a series of tweets

The maverick director wrote, "Since film industry is shut , God is busy making real life thriller movies." His next tweet read: "There are only 3 entities who kill men women and children without discrimination of religion, caste and nationality and they are TERRORISTS, VIRUSES and GOD."  A few days back Ram Gopal Varma was recently called out by singer Sona Mohapatra after he made a sexist remark, targeting victims of domestic violence.Varma tweeted about alochol shops in India re-opening after staying closed for over thirty days due to the COVID-19 lockdown.Sharing some pictures of people queued outside wine shops, wherein women were also seen waiting in separate lines in Bengaluru, Varma said women who take part in such activities should not complain about domestic abuse.
