Director Abhishek Dudhaiya's Bhuj: The Pride of India is one of the most anticipated films of 2020 and the movie has been in the news ever since it was announced. In a recent development reports have emerged that Rana Daggubati has opted out of the project. The Bahubali actor was supposed to essay the role of a lieutenant colonel in the film. However, Rana decided to exit the project owing to health conditions according to reports. He was expected to perform some heavy duty action sequences. The makers tried to work around the same by finding a body double, but since things did not go as planned, the two parted ways amicably. 

However, the report also states that getting the actor's date was one of the main issues as he was expected to shoot from October. Meanwhile, his schedule finally got locked for February which would have affected his other projects and actor is busy with his upcoming film Hiranyakashyap. The makers are now looking for Daggubati's replacement. Bhuj: The Pride of India stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and now Nora Fatehi in the lead roles. Ajay's look from the movie was also unveiled recently. According to their last announcement, the movie is slated for August 14, 2020 release.
