Star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set for a December wedding as per an article by film and enterytainment journalist Rajeev Masand in Open Magazine. The article also states that prep for the speculated December wedding has begun already in the Bhatt and the Kapoor households. Relatives of Alia and Ranbir have already been intimated about the wedding date, stated the report: "Preparations are already underway; their extended families have been asked to mark off those dates to join in the celebrations."

Earlier this week, Ranbir and Alia made an appearance together at the wedding reception of the former's cousin Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra. On the work front the much in love couple will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The movie which is slated to hit theatres on December 8 is being produced by Karan Johar. Apart from Ranbir and Alia the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy Dimple Kapadia and Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance.
