In a revealing behind-the-scenes conversation, makeup and prosthetic artist Karandeep Singh opened up about the intense conditions and relentless effort that went into filming the climax of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Sharing firsthand insights from the sets, he highlighted Ranveer Singh’s extraordinary dedication, offering a rare glimpse into the physical and mental endurance the actor displayed while bringing the high-octane sequence to life.

“We were shooting in the outskirts of Ludhiana and the temperature was around 47 to 48 degrees. There was not a single tree or shade anywhere,” Karandeep recalled. “Heat was reflecting from every metal surtace around us. On one side there were vehicles, on the other side containers, and goods trains standing nearby. We were shooting right in the middle of all this,” he said.

“The fight sequence had Ranveer jumping from one container to another. The containers were literally burning in the heat, The amount of blood we used on Ranveer every day was unbelievable. We finished a full bucket of blood in a week,” Karandeep said.

“Fans and ACs were there but nothing was working because of the heat. It was so hot that we couldn’t even eat properly. A wig itself has weight and warmth. Wearing that in 47 degrees is like wearing a woollen cap,” he said.

What stands out beyond these accounts is Ranveer Singh’s sheer commitment to his craft. Performing physically demanding action sequences in extreme 47–48 degree heat, wearing layered costumes including a heavy Pathani suit, leather jacket, and overcoat, and enduring days of discomfort with prosthetics and fake blood—Ranveer remained fully immersed, never once compromising on performance.

This relentless dedication is now reflecting in the film’s phenomenal success. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is on the verge of crossing ₹1000 crore in India, set to become the only Hindi film to achieve this historic benchmark. Central to this milestone is Ranveer Singh, whose performance has been widely celebrated as a masterclass, establishing him as the best actor of the nation.

As records continue to fall, one thing is clear—Ranveer Singh is not just delivering blockbusters, he is setting new standards, driven by unmatched passion, discipline, and excellence. And now its only Ranveer Singh vs Ranveer Singh.
