Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh arrived at singer's Mumbai residence in the afternoon to pay his final respects. Upon arrival, Ranveer quietly folded his hands and bowed in reverence before Asha-tai's mortal remains. He, too, appeared visibly emotional. As he was about to leave, Ranveer paused and turned back briefly. He made a point of seeking out and meeting Asha-tai's granddaughter, Zanai.
Upon seeing Ranveer, Zanai, too, broke down in tears. Ranveer embraced her, placed a comforting her, and express condolence. In this moment, Ranveer was once again seen overcome with emotion.
