Designer Simone Khambatta reached the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office on Thursday for interrogation in connection with a drug case. Simone's name surfaced in the drugs probe after Rhea Chakraborty reportedly named her during interrogation. eportedly, Rhea’s friend named Simone Khambatta asked her whereabouts post which she replied about being in Bhubaneshwar. However, her next message is somewhat shocking as she says, “best weed ever.” For the unversed, Simone is a highly influential personality within the Bollywood social circle.
She is also the childhood buddy of Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh. She is best known for her Youtube channel Mama Says which has over 4.2K subscribers. The channel revolves around lessons in motherhood, parenting advice from experts, information on caring for new-borns and toddlers, health, lifestyle, nutrition etc. Simone Khambatta was born and raised in Dubai. She married her high school sweetheart Karan Panthaky. The couple are parents to daughter Serena and son Zephyr. The Narcotics Control Bureau had confirmed that Rhea Chakraborty named Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and fashion designer Simone in her statement pertaining to a drug angle that came to light in the Sushant's case.The case was filed after a brief note was given to NCB and CBI following the drug chats between Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik. Deepika Padukone has been called to record her statement on September 25, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor on September 26.
