RB Choudary Funeral: TVK Chief Vijay Gets Emotional While Consoling Jiiva (VIDEO)

RB Choudary Funeral: Actor and politician Vijay paid his final respects to veteran producer R. B. Choudary at the latter’s residence in Chennai on Wednesday following the producer’s tragic death in a road accident in Rajasthan. TVK chief arrived at the residence and placed a flower garland on the mortal remains of the late producer. The actor was also seen emotionally embracing actor Jiiva, Choudary’s son, while offering condolences to the grieving family.

R.B. Choudary died on Tuesday after reportedly meeting with a car accident near Joontha village in Rajasthan’s Bewar district. His mortal remains were later brought to Chennai, where members of the South Indian film industry gathered to offer condolences.

Filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar, Vijay’s father, also visited the residence to pay tribute to the veteran producer.

Several prominent actors from the South Indian film industry, including Mammootty, Dhanush, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Vikram and Vishal also arrived to pay their last respects.

Vishal was seen consoling Jiiva during the emotional gathering and stood beside the family as they mourned the loss.

R.B. Choudary was one of the most influential producers in South Indian cinema and founded the banner Super Good Films. Over the years, he backed several successful Tamil and Telugu films, including Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Poove Unakkaga, Love Today, Samurai and Punnagai Desam.

He is survived by his sons Jiiva and actor-producer Jithan Ramesh.
