Mumbai Aug 29 Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari seemed to have got emotional recently, after she met Bollywood veteran star Rekha and Ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The actress, shared a few pictures from her meet and greet, stated how she had been missing both, her home and her actor husband Siddharth. She captioned the post as, “Festivals are about love. missing home and my siddhuuu extra much.”
The actress, in the pictures was seen sitting close to Rekha while posing for the picture. In another photo, Rekha can be seen kissing Aditi on her cheek out of motherly affection.
In other pictures, Aditi was seen hugging Sanjay Leela Bhansali whom she considers father-like. Aditi Rao Hydari also seemed to have visited Manish Malhotra for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at his office, where she bumped into Rekha. Aditi had visited Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house to seek blessings from Bappa at his place. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditi Rao Hydari worked together for the former’s series Heeramandi. Aditi was lauded for her role as Bibbo Jaan.
Aditi had earlier worked with the ace Bollywood director in Padmaavat. Dressed in fuchsia pink, Aditi looked gorgeous. Talking about Rekha, the actress who is known as Bollywood's most graceful star was seen draped in her traditional Kanjivaram. For the uninitiated, Aditi considers Rekha as her mother and even refers to her as “Rekha Maa.”
In an interview earlier, Aditi had stated that she feels very close to Rekha and can’t explain if it was a past life connection or a spiritual connection with her. Aditi further explained that she called the veteran actress as Maa because she feels she has the most maternal instincts and is so positive about everything. Not many know that after the success of Aditi Rao Hydari’s movie, Padmaavat in 2018, Rekha had sent Aditi a big basket of petals with a beautiful letter to congratulate her.
