During the Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan had expressed his disappointment over Rubina Dilaik for her rebellious attitude. He went on to call her husband and actor Abhinav Shukla as 'saamaan' which did not go well with her. Annoyed with her behaviour of not doing a task because she was not allowed to use her stuff, Salman told her, "Saamaan pack kijiye aur chale ayiye baahar."Now, on Tuesday's episode, Rubina spoke to Bigg Boss and shared her thoughts by calling out Salman for her his 'saamaan' comment. She said that Abhinav and she are professionals who have come to this show and these derogatory terms are not right as Khan doesn't know them personally. The Shakti actor went on to share that she will quit the show for the sake of Abhinav if them being together is a hindrance. The actress opened about feeling disrespected on the show.
Although, she accepted and agreed to the facts that she has not watched the show and is a failure but said that she was hurt with the fact that Salman addressed her husband as a ‘samaan’ and her belongings as ‘kachra’ in the previous episode. The ‘Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ actress also said that she and her husband Abhinav, were not desperate to get into the show and that she believes in mutual respect. She went ahead and said, “If I am not respected, I can’t work through. I can’t function like that.” In response to this, Bigg Boss tried to explain and clarify that Salman was only trying to make them understand in his own way, and it was in no way meant to disrespect anybody. He further told her that it is all about perception, and she should try to understand from Salman’s perspective. Rubina said that ‘we are both professional individuals’ and it was she who convinced him to come along in the show. But that does not mean that he can be called ‘samaan’. Later, Bigg Boss even added that the team can inform host Salman Khan to never joke with the couple in any future episodes. The couple immediately stated that no they would not like things go that way. Rubina was praised a lot by the netizens for standing up for herself and also Abhinav in front of Salman Khan.
