The 14th edition of reality TV show Bigg Boss has finally come to an close with Rubina Dilaik winning the controversial reality show. Rubina was declared winner by host Salman Khan in a star-studded grand finale that started on Sunday night at 9 pm and went into the early hour of Monday. After she was announced the winner, the actress took to Instagram and shared a video thanking her fans for all the love and support they showered during her stay in the house.
She also thanked the channel and show host Salman Khan for all the 'patience and constant support'. The actress took home prize money of Rs 36 lakhs. Rubina, who entered the house with husband Abhinav Shukla, had a roller-coaster ride in the Bigg Boss 14. From becoming the rejected contestant at the launch to challenging Bigg Boss in the initial days, Rubina faced many challenges but never gave up. Singer Rahul Vaidya emerged as the first runner-up wheras actress Nikki Tamboli stood as the second runner-up. Rubina’s husband and former contestant Abhinav Shukla was also present at the finale night. They were the last contestants to get finalised for the show. There were five finalists vying for the trophy — Aly Goni, Rakhi Sawant and Nikki Tamboli, besides Rahul and Rubina. The finale also saw a host of performances by Salman Khan, Nora Fatehi, and the five finalists, among others.
