Satish Kaushik directorial Kaagaz, starring Pankaj Tripathi, Monal Gajjar, Mita Vashisht and Amar Upadhyay, is streaming on ZEE5. Kaagaz is special for director-actor Satish Kaushik since he is making his directorial comeback with it after six years. Salman Khan who is on board in Satish Kaushik’s Kaagaz as a “presenter” was so bowled over by the film’s theme that he insisted on being featured in the film as a voieceover reciting poetry on how kaagaz(paper) governs our lives. Says Satish fondly, “We wanted him in our film even if it was just his voice. His fans would love our film much more . We got Salman to do a voiceover in the beginning and at the end. He brackets the drama very nicely. ”This is the first time Salman has lent his voice to any film.
As the film has a huge contribution from the Dabangg 3 actor, he recently took to his photo-sharing app to share tell his followers that film is released and is currently streaming on Zee 5. He wrote, “Na zinda. Na murda. Na bhoot. Aakhir kya hai Bharat Lal Mritak? Jaan-ne ke liye dekhiye #Kaagaz. Streaming now on @zee5premium. #ProofHaiKya” Talking about Kaagaz, the story revolves around a common man, played by Pankaj Tripathi, who is declared dead as per the government records. The film showcases the journey of the man who struggles to prove his existence. Kaagaz will release on Zee 5, and according to some reports earlier Zee Studios have also bought the rights for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Salman Khan’s Radhe is one of the most highly awaited films as masses and even exhibitors are wanting to know if this movie will hit the screens and help single screen to breathe life or will it have a direct-to-digital release.
