Salman Khan's much awaited Tiger 3 has been in the news ever since the third  installment of the popular franchise was announced for their Project 50 of Yash Raj Films. It was reported that the film will be mounted on a scale of somewhere around 300 crores. Now according to a reports Salman is likely to be paid less for the third part of the film. Since Bollywood going through a lull, it is difficult for any producer to pay an astronomical hike to a A-lister. It is said that  Salman will be paid substantially less for Tiger 3 as compared with the first two films of the franchise.

YRF’s last magnum opus, Thugs of Hindostan was made on a budget of approximately Rs. 240 crores, including Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan fees. Tiger is the biggest franchise for YRF alongside Dhoom thus the hype around the film seems justified. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman may have given green light to Tiger 3 with Katrina and it is apparently going to go on floors in February 2021. The film is planned to be shot in multiple countries, which is why the shoot is spread over a period of 8 months. Meanwhile, Salman also has other projects like Guns Of North with Aayush Sharma and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali for next year. As per reports the third installment of Tiger franchise may be helmed by Maneesh Sharma. The screenplay and story will most likely will  be written by Aditya Chopra and Jaideep Sahni. Meanwhile, Sajid Nadiadwala has announced the second installment of Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick. The big announcement was made on Jacqueline's birthday a few days ago.
