Superstar Salman Khan has come forward to financially support the cine workers of Bollywood. According to a TOI report, the actor has honoured his commitment and once again transferred Rs 1500 into the accounts of workers from various departments of the workers union. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari confirmed the development."Salman Khan is one of the large-hearted actors of Bollywood who has continued to help us whenever we need any support. He had helped our members in the first lockdown too we are grateful to him. He has told us that he will continue to help our workers in the future too".Recently, Salman also distributed refreshments and meals to the frontline workers like medical and police personnel, BMC workers and cleaners in Mumbai.

Besides Salman, a lot of people from Bollywood have come forward to help the workers. Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, who have given Rs 51 lakh each. Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor too have given money and there are few more who have offered financial assistance to the federation. The workers have also received help from the Producers Guild of India and other production houses, which have facilitated vaccines and money transfers to workers' accounts. Tiwari adds, "We are eternally grateful to the film industry coming in support of its fraternity".
