Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has reportedly been diagnosed with lung cancer. The actor is likely to fly abroad for further treatment. The 61-year-old actor, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after complaining of breathlessness on August 8, was discharged on Monday. Today, Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to announce that he is taking a break from the films for medical treatment and urged his fans not to worry or unnecessarily speculate.

Sanjay  is completely devastated as breaking the awful news to his family would be an ordeal but the veteran actor is confident that he will overcome this health crisis. The actor’s wife Maanayata Dutt and his kids Iqra and Shahraan are stuck in Dubai ever since the lockdown was announced.  On the work front, he will next feature in Sadak 2 that is all set for an OTT release on August 28.
