Amazon MX Player has unveiled the first poster of Kaptaan, an original series headlined by Saqib Saleem. As Samardeep Singh, the actor steps into the shoes of a dedicated police officer who finds himself between the hunger of revenge and the responsibility of being an honest officer.
Captured against a raw backdrop, Saqib shines in a police officer’s uniform, indicating that he’s geared up for a story that feels more personal, edgy and full of intense action. Audiences have never seen the actor in the shade of a cop but the poster displays the moment where Saqib extends his range as an actor.
As Saqib Saleem headlines Kaptaan, he is joined by Kavita Kaushik, Siddharth Nigam, Varun Badola, Anushka Kaushik, Pooja Gor and Vikram Kochhar. Amazon MX Player announced Saqib Saleem’s Kaptaan during the 2026 content slate. Though the makers are yet to announce its release date, the series will be available for free to all viewers across India.
