The first look of Taapsee Pannu from Mithali Raj biopic is finally out wherein the actress is seen striking a pose with the bat in her cricket uniform. Taking to her Instagram handle, Taapsee shared the poster with her fans.  She captioned the post as, ‘“I have always been asked who’s your favourite male cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.” The statement that made every cricket lover pause n introspect that do they love the game or the gender playing it. Helmed by Rahul Dholakia, Shabaash Mithu is set to hit theatres on February 5 2021. The film is produced by Viacom 18 and is one of the most eagerly awaited films. In September 2019, she announced her retirement from T20s to focus on ODIs. She is the first female cricketer to complete 20 years in international cricket. Apart from this, Taapsee has Anubhav Sinha’s Thapaad releasing this March. She will also be seen in Rashami Rocket, where she will play a sprinter.
