Actor Shahid Kapoor who will be next seen in the remake of Jersey is all set to resume shooting for the sports drama. After a rigorious training in Mumbai Shahid headed to Chandigarh for the shoot but unfortunately injured while filming a scene on the sets. The Kabir Singh star returned to Mumbai covering half of his face wearing a skull mask.

The actor now took to Instagram to give a glimpse of his healed lip and even announced that he is resuming the shoot of his next film. Sharing a few selfies on his instagram story Shahid wrote, "Thank you for all your wishes the torn lip is a bit raw but doesn't show much now so back on set, boom" This is Shahid's first project after the super hit Kabir Singh. Jersey which also stars Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 2020.
