Los Angeles, Dec 25 Actor Shia LaBeouf is reportedly looking for a long-term inpatient treatment after singer FKA twigs claimed he abused her and gave her STD.

LaBeouf's attorney has revealed the actor is entering rehab, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Earlier this month, FKA twigs took a legal step against LaBeouf. Following this, singer Sia came forward to accuse the actor of "conning" her into an adulterous relationship with him. She called him a "pathological liar".

Songwriter Katy Rose also alleged that he "groped" her "violently" at a party in the Hollywood Hills once, and stylist Karolyn Pho joined Twigs' lawsuit.

In September, LaBeouf was officially ousted from the film "Don't Worry Darling" helmed by actress-director Olivia Wilde. He was replaced by Harry Styles.

Now, Variety has quoted a source ss saying that he was fired by Wilde because his behaviour was "off-putting".

"He is not an easy guy to work with," the source said.

LaBeouf's attorney told Variety that they were looking for places for him to go to rehab.

"Shia needs help and he knows that. We are actively seeking the kind of meaningful, intensive, long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs," said the attorney.

After twigs filed her lawsuit, LaBeouf responded in an email to The New York Times saying: "I'm not in any position to tell anyone how my behaviour made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years."

"I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I'm ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say." twigs claimed in her lawsuit that she had tried to settle with LaBeouf privately but that he refused.

His attorney said that is not true and that he went to great lengths to settle the matter.

In her lawsuit, twigs alleged LaBeouf knowingly gave her an STD and abused her, both emotionally and physically, during their relationship.

They dated for less than a year before parting ways in May 2019.
