The much awaited railer of Sadak 2 featuring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt was unveiled today. However,  after the trailer dropped online, netizens angry fans thronged in large numbers  to dislike the video to voice their displeasure over the movie featuring star kids.  The movie has garnered around 8.5 Lakh dislikes on YouTube against its 72,000 Likes. The backlash could be due to the unexpected demise of Sushant Singh Rajput who everyone believes was a victim of nepotism.

Earlier, VHP spokesperson Vijay Shankar Tiwari took to Twitter to call out the film and demand a ban on it stating that it is anti-Hindu in nature.Apart from hurting Hindu sentiments, Tiwari also said that Sadak is full of 'nepotism products'. He urged the central government to look into the matter. Starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles, Sadak-2 will stream on Disney-Hotstar from 28th August 28. The film is  a sequel to the 1991 film Sadak starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. Check out the Twitter reactions here...
