Bollywood's iconic singer Shreya Ghoshal recently visited Madhya Pradesh's Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. She offered her prayers to lord shiva. Video of her offering prayers and doing morning aarti has gone viral on social media. Shreya who has announced her Mumbai concert recently, shared her view about her visit to temple. While talking to IANS media portal she said, I have no words, and it is difficult to express.
Shreya said, , "Jai Shri Mahakal, I have no words to describe this experience with Mahakal. It's so overwhelming that it's difficult to express in words. I feel that it was a call to visit Ujjain, and I was destined to have the opportunity to witness the darshan of Mahakal..."
The singer, who recently mesmerized the audience with her performance at the IPL 2025 opening ceremony, was seen immersed in the morning aarti rituals at the temple. Ghoshal, clad in a blue saree, sat near the Pooja area, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. After the rituals, she was offered Prashad and aarti by the priests.
