Washington [US], April 21 : 'Succession' star Alan Ruck has joined the cast of the upcoming horror-thriller 'Corporate Retreat'.

He joins an ensemble that also includes Rosanna Arquette and Ashton Sanders, reported Variety.

Ruck was seen playing Connor Roy on the Emmy-winning 'Succession', for which the show's cast twice won the SAG Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.

Ruck was nominated for a Golden Globe as well as a Primetime Emmy for his performance in the satirical black comedy-drama TV series created by Jesse Armstrong.

He is also known for his roles in films like 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', 'Speed' and 'Twister' and the television series 'Spin City', as per Variety.

The film is written and directed by Aaron Fisher and Uri Singer producer. Fisher co-wrote the script with Kerri Lee Romeo.

"We're thrilled to welcome Alan to the team," Singer said in a statement. "His unique ability to seamlessly blend comedy and drama is truly exceptional. Alan has that rare talent to make audiences laugh even in moments of suspense and horror, perfectly aligning with the tone we're aiming for in 'Corporate Retreat,'" reported Variety.
