Mumbai, July 7 Actor Sunny Singh, who is gearing up for the release of 'Wild Wild Punjab', has shared the emotional connection he shares with the upcoming film and his late mother.

When asked why the film is special to him, Sunny became emotional and said: “This is the most special and important film of mine for my mom. She passed away before its release, but she had seen every scene of it.”

“Even if it was just a discussion or there were any talks related to the film, she used to get so excited and ask me, ‘When is the film starring?’ or ‘When are you going?’ ”

The actor added that his mother was the most excited about this film of his.

“So this is always going to be special for me. Even Luv (Ranjan) sir is aware that this is the reason why I am so emotionally connected to the film. On top of that, working with the other actors on it was like working with my extended family.”
