Actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away yesterday sending shockwaves across the entertainment industry. Soon after the death of the actor was confirmed by Mumbai Police a number of Bollywood stars expressed their grief on social media. The actor's death was also mourned by  Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt who condoled the 34-year old star's death. However, their tweet did not go well with the netizens as they criticized the duo  for mocking Sushant on the talk show in the past. During, Koffee With Karan, Alia was asked to rate three celebrities – Ranveer Singh, Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Dhawan. After hearing Sushant’s name, she replied, ‘Sushant Singh Rajput, Who?’

In another episode of Koffee With Karan, when Karan asked her to choose one in the question of Kill, Marry, and Hookup, she responded that she will marry Ranbir, hookup with Ranveer and kill Sushant.  Meanwhile, Karan  wrote a note, blaming himself for not having been in touch with Mr Rajput over the last year. "I'm in a deep state of shock," tweeted Alia Bhatt on Sunday, "You left us too soon." Karan Johar wrote in his tweet, "This is heart breaking. I have such strong memories of the times we shared." The duo's condolence messaged angered fans as Karan was once again being accused of nepotism and favouring Bollywood insiders over the likes of Sushant Singh Rajput, who belonged to a non-film background.  Let us have a look at Karan and Alia's reaction and what fans have to say about their condolence message.
