The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has exposed the ugly truth of Bollywood with many celebs claiming that Sushant was a targeted by some of the bigwigs of the industry. With speculations rife that depression was the reason of Sushant's suicide fans of the actor have started an online petition  to boycott Karan Johar, Salman Khan, YRF, and T-Series  films. Many fans have signed a Change.Org petition urging moviegoers to ban the influential personalities who are a threat to rising stars of the country. The petition has garnered more than 1 million signatures. 

The petition has received a positive response which aims to help struggling actors. The petition claims that the late actor was virtually trolled, ragged, and bullied.  The Kedarnath actor was found hanging in his residence on June 14th. After the post-mortem it was revealed that Sushant died of asphyxia due to hanging, confirming that he committed suicide. The 34-year old was last seen in ‘Chhichhore’. The 2019 release was a huge hit at the box office. Sushant’s next release was ‘Dil Bechara’, which was the Hindi remake of hit Hollywood film ‘The Fault in Our Stars’
