Taapse Pannu has followed a host of celebs and announced the launch of her production house Outsider Films. Elated with the launch of the production house, the Thappad actress said, “I’m thrilled to embark upon this new journey and diversify my love for cinema with my production house. With Outsiders Films, I aim to give back to the industry and empower talent who’re looking for a breakthrough and come with no background like me. Pranjal and I together look forward to opening doors for new and fresh talents, both in front and behind the camera.” Her very first project has been titled 'Blurr' and the actress shared the announcement on social media.
The film will be helmed by Ajay Bhal who has directed films like Section 375 and BA Pass. Revealing details about her production venture, Taapsee told Hindustan Times, "I always thought of setting up my production house. The audience and industry has given me a lot of support and love over the 11 years of my career. I aim to give to the industry and empower talent looking for a breakthrough, who come with no background like me. Pranjal and I together look forward to opening doors for fresh talent, both, in front of and behind the camera." On the work front, the former beauty queen has a number of films lined up for release including Loop Lapeta, Rashmi Rocket, DooBaaraa, a south film, Shabaash Mithu among others.
