Days after netizens pointed out similarities between posters of Karan Johar's Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship and Lijo Jose Pellissery's Jallikattu, the team of Taapsee's 'Thappad has now been accused of plagiarism. One of the social media users pointed out that Taapsee's Thappad poster shares striking similarity with 2012 Mexican film 'After Lucia.' Both posters feature a close-up shot of the lead actress captured in motion after being slapped. 

Taapsee unveiled the poster on Thursday and dropped the film’s official trailer early Friday afternoon. The Anubhav Sinha directorial has been earning praise from fans and critics alike. Netizens have even lauded the trailer with some saying that it is a "tight slap" on ‘Kabir Singh’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's face. Produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar the movie releases on February 28th. Check out the similarities between the two posters here...
