Telugu TV actress Sravani Kondapally reportedly died by suicide at her residence. As per a E-times report, the young star  was found hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom.  The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem. Meanwhile, Sravani's family alleged that harassment by boyfriend Devraj Reddy forced the actress to end her life. They have lodged a complaint against Devraj in SR Nagar police station. The actress' family further accused that Devraj, hailing from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, has been harassing Sravani for a while now.

Sravani has had a fruitful career in the Telugu TV industry for almost a decade. The late actress is fondly remembered for her popular Telugu serials Manasu Mamatha and Mounaragam. Her untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the Telugu entertainment industry. Sravani’s co-star in the serial Mounaragam, Priyanka Jain, took to Instagram to express sorrow at her death.“This wasn’t the way to go, My heart cries as I write this, Never thought that I would post it like this, Rest in peace love. I just so wish you come and hug me the way you used to, Gonna miss you forever (sic),” Priyanka Jain wrote, sharing a picture with Sravani from the sets of the serial.
