Telugu film producer Annamreddy Krishna Kumar passed away  due to cardiac arrest. He took his last breathe in Visakhapatnam in the early hours of the morning. Director Surender Reddy took to Twitter and penned a heartfelt condolence note to Krishna Kumar's family. He wrote, "It's really disheartening to learn of Producer Kumar garu's demise. A very positive person and a well-wisher of mine. You will be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to the family." Annamreddy Krishna Kumar is known for producing the upcoming psychological thriller 'Anukoni Athidhi', a dubbed version of the 2019 Malayalam film 'Athiran'. Annamreddy Krishna Kumar bought the remake rights and presented the film in Telugu.

His sudden demise exactly two days before his film Anukoni Athidhi’s release. Starring Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi in the lead, 'Anukoni Athidhi' is all set to stream on an OTT from May 28. The trailer of the movie, received positive response upon its release.  Directed by Vivek, the film also stars Atul Kulkarni, Renji Panicker, Shanti Krishna, Prakash Raj, Surabhi, Sudev Nair, Nandu and Lena in crucial roles. PS Jayhari has composed songs for 'Anukoni Athidhi', with Ghibran scoring background music while Anu Moothedath was roped in as cinematographer. Annamreddy Krishna Kumar's sudden demise has come as a huge shock to the celebs in the industry. Last week, Telugu publicist and producer BA Raju passed away in Hyderabad.
