Mahesh Bhatt is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his works exclusively in Hindi Cinema. By directing films like 'Artha', 'Samaram', 'Daddy', 'Awaraghi' he proved himself to be extraordinary. His film Saaransh became India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film that year. Mahesh proved himself that he is not like other directors by his hard work and dedication.

Apart from this, he is also credited for introducing many talented artists and singers in Bollywood. He has been indulged in many controversies but one controversy which really shocked everyone was when he commented on his relationship with his daughter Pooja Bhatt.

Mahesh became a hot topic for discussion when he kissed on the lips of his daughter Pooja Bhatt for the magazine cover. That picture became sensation in media. Many organizations started showing protests by claiming that this behavior was 'indecent'. Things didn't stop here. Things went worst when after few days of publishing that photo, Mahesh said, "I want to marry Pooja. If she was not my daughter, then I would have really married her."
