Actor Pracheen Chauhan, who made his debut with Ekta Kapoor's popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, has been arrested by the Malad East Police in Mumbai. There are serious allegations of molestation against the actor. The victim has lodged a complaint against the actor at Malad police station.

The police have registered a case under sections 354, 342, 323, 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code. Police is probing the matter. The news of his arrest has once again shocked the TV industry. Just a few days ago, TV actor Pearl V Puri was arrested in connection with the rape of a minor. However, now the actor has got bail.Chauhan made his debut in TV with Star Plus's famous show 'Kasauti Zindagi Ki', in the show he played the character of Subroto Basu. Along with this, he has also acted in 'Kuch Jhuki Palke', 'Sindoor Tere Naam Ka Saat Phere'.
