Barkha Bisht is a popular actress in the Hindi television industry. She made headlines when she ended her 13-year marriage with Indraneil Sengupta 2 years back, reportedly due to Indraneil's extramarital affair. Before Indraneil, Barkha was in a relationship with TV actor Karan Singh Grover, popularly known for his role as Arman from Dil Mil Gayee. Recently, the actress revealed her relationship with Karan and how it ended. In conversation with podcaster Siddharth Kannan, Barkha said that both were new to the industry and working in the same serial. They used to meet on the serial set.
Barkha said, "Karan and I were dating each other. He was good looking, had a great body, and an attitude because he was a very loving person, and I get attracted to them. Not many people in Mumbai are loving. So I was attracted to loving people. I was only 23 years old then. We had that childhood love." While giving the reason behind the breakup, Barkha said, "We were very young. With time, our behavior also changed, and we became different. Our perspective on life changed. He was 2 years younger than me, so there was less understanding between us. There was a big difference between us. That's why our relationship broke up."
Barkha and Indraneil tied the knot in 2008, and in October 2011, she gave birth to a girl named Meira. The couple broke off their 13 years of marriage in 2022 due to Indraneil's extra-marital affair. Talking about his divorce, she said, "Jo dil ka tootna kehte hain - heartache - I felt it. It feels like physical pain. It was an experience I had to go through. My belief in humanity broke at that time, not my faith in marriage or love, and it is still somewhere broken. The worst thing you can do to a woman is break her trust because she cannot take betrayal."
