Due to a kissing video that went viral, well-known Bollywood musician Udit Narayan was in the headlines for a while. Social media users began ridiculing Udit when a video of him kissing a woman at a performance went viral. The 69-year-old singer has now responded for the first time, he said that the video is 2 years old.

Udit shared his take on the topic while addressing the trailer premiere for the upcoming movie Pintu Ki Pappi. Attending the event was also choreographer Ganesh Acharya. Udit humorously handled the matter while making fun of the movie's title.

In a humorous tone, Udit revealed that the video was not recent but two years old. He expressed surprise at how it suddenly went viral. What he said next left everyone at the event laughing out loud. Referring to the film’s title, Udit jokingly remarked, “You should change the title… ‘Pappi’ (kiss) is fine, though. Your film’s title, Pintu Ki Pappi, is quite beautiful, but what about Udit Ki Pappi? It’s a coincidence that this is being released now, just like my video.”

Udit clarified, “Actually, the video you all are watching is from Australia and was recorded two years ago. Yes, it’s two years old.” He laughed while explaining, and the audience joined in.
