Ustaad Bhagat Singh Box Office Collection Day 1: Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan opened to Rs 34.75 crore net in India on its first day, with a worldwide gross of Rs 48 crore, including Rs 7 crore from overseas markets, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Released on March 19 during the Ugadi festival, the Telugu-language action entertainer recorded an overall occupancy of around 69% across 4,607 shows nationwide.
Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film marked Kalyan’s return to the big screen following a busy 2025, raising expectations of a record-breaking opening. However, the opening figures fell short when compared with the actor’s recent releases. His 2025 film They Call Him OG collected Rs 63.75 crore net on Day 1, while Hari Hara Veera Mallu opened at Rs 34.75 crore net. Despite the comparatively lower opening, the film has delivered a solid start by industry standards.
The film opened alongside Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, which earned Rs 102.55 crore net on its opening day.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh also stars Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna in lead roles, alongside R. Parthiban in a supporting role. The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with background score by Thaman S.
