Vadh 2 starring Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra has stormed the box office and how. The much-anticipated sequel which released in theatres on 6th February has not only lived up to expectations but has easily outperformed the opening figures of its predecessor, registering a staggering 400% growth compared to Vadh’s opening day earnings. The strong start clearly indicates that the film has struck a chord with audiences right from its release day.
As per early estimates, Vadh 2 made a decent beginning at the Indian box office by collecting approximately ₹50 lakh nett on Day 1. When taxes are included, the gross collection stands at an impressive ₹59 lakh, marking a solid opening for a content-driven film. These numbers are particularly noteworthy given the genre and scale of the film, proving that strong storytelling continues to find its audience.
The opening-day performance places Vadh 2 far ahead of Vadh, which had a relatively modest start at the box office. With a four-times-higher opening, the sequel has clearly benefited from positive recall value, strong word-of-mouth, and growing curiosity ever since the trailer of Vadh 2 was unveiled. With such a promising start, all eyes are now on the film’s weekend performance. If the momentum continues, Vadh 2 could comfortably establish itself as a box office success in the coming days. A Luv Films presentation, Vadh 2 is written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. The film was released in cinemas on 6th February 2026.
