A day after Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, stressed on the importance of a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the death of the actor. Now Varun Dhawan has also taken part in this digital campaign and shared a post seeking an investigation into the late actor’s death. Varun took to Instagram to share a hashtag "CBI for SSR," initiated by Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti on social media.
The hashtag was accompanied by a folded hands emoji. After, Sushant's death Varun had shared a throwback picture of him with the late actor, alongside an emotional caption."RIP Sushant. Sushant was a true artist. Supremely passionate and hardworking. I have lovely memories of the time we spent. I’m very shocked at this moment. Sending my deepest condolences to his fans and family," he wrote. This comes after Kangana Ranaut shared a video message from her on Twitter where where she is seen demanding a CBI inquiry. We want CBI (inquiry) for Sushant Singh Rajput. We deserve to know the truth," Ms Ranaut said in the video. The actor has been quite vocal in demanding CBI inquiry in the matter of the untimely death of the ''Kai Po Che!'' actor.Sushant Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai's Bandra residence earlier on June 14 triggering a debate on nepotism in Bollywood.
