Varun Dhawan to play a Maharashtrian character in Mr. Lele?

A few days back, the makers of Mr. Lele dropped the first look of Varun Dhawan from the film wherein the actor is seen posing shirtless in boxers with a gun in his hand. Meanwhile, reports are emerging that the October star  will essay  the role of a Maharashtrian character. The actor for his role will be attending few workshops to get into the skin of his character which is something the actor hasn't done before in his career. 

Mr. Lele will go on floors in March and stars Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor as well in key roles. This is the second collaboration between  Shashank Khaitan and Varun Dhawan after the successful Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Besides the comedy thriller Varun will also be seen in  in David Dhawan’s Coolie No.1 opposite Sara Ali Khan. The actor is currently busy with the promotions of Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer 3D opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi. The movie is slated to release on 24th January 2020.
