The actress was most notably known for her roles in films like Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje' (1955), 'Do Aankhen Barah Haath' (1958), 'Navrang' (1959), Marathi film 'Pinjra' (1972) and 'Amar Bhoopali'.
